Week of April 24th

This week was a productive week. We brought in some extra footage we recorded over the weekend and we did some more editing. This gave us the rest of the footage we needed to finish the film and we finished it. We began discussing if we were going to do another film together with the same group and I'm considering it. My other partner, Carlos, is just about finishing up his film with his other group so we'll get together soon and start a new project.

Week of April 17

This week I feel didn't get much done. We did more editing for the Running Mockumentary and we also went out on Monday to film. We were supposed to film yesterday but one of our members forgot to check out the camera. With my other group we decided to scrap the Soccer Mockumentary because our actors were rather unreliable and even though they were stoked to be in this film they seem to have lost interest. We have brainstormed a couple of ideas for a narrative film but are still deciding which to do.

Week of April 10th

This week I got a few things done with different production companies. On Sunday we went to Debs park and recorded some of our scenes. Unfortunately we were not able to finish all the scenes so we'll be going back another day. For my other production company, they went out to record on Tuesday. I wasn't able to stay for the whole recording session because I had a tennis match. I've also started fiddling around with after effects so I can get a hang of it by the time I need to use it. Some slight planning has went in with Carlos as to what we're going to do for the music video but we only have ideas and are still unsure of what we'll do.

Week of April 3rd

This week I have done several different tasks. For my mockumentary film, I went to Debs park on saturday and we planned out what we were going to do and how we're going to do it. For the music video I have began to create lyrics for the song and was planning to record on wednesday but I couldn't since i was sick and had to leave school early. I went out and filmed for another project about one of the fastest runners. I was being interviewed and I also helped with the editting for that. I began doing some research on special effects for the soccer mockumentary and while browsing the site was inspired to do a science fiction film. I have asked certain people if they would like to do it with me but are still gathering members for this project since it will be very time consuming.
