I don’t have nightmares too often and usually when I do I
try to forget them as fast as possible. I throw them in my mental fault where
it will remain sealed away forever. But one nightmare, in particular, I found
very interesting. There was a massive party at my house, lots of people but I
don’t remember actually seeing anyone’s face. That might just be because I had
the nightmare years ago. Well in the dream, there was an animal in my backyard.
I don’t remember what it was but it was within the giant cat species (jaguar,
panther, etc). I was also the only one that knew the panther was there so I
attempted to close the door from my house into the backyard. I remember running
through my own home and yet I still didn’t make it in time. It was already in
the house. When I went back to try to warn people, everyone was ignoring me.
Everyone just continued partying until the animal got outside. Everyone began
to panic and run into their cars. I tried to find my parents or at least
another close relative I could leave with, but before I knew it everyone was
gone. I was all alone and I remember thinking that, that cat had probably
killed my dog and now it was going to kill me. The last thing that happened was
I was face to face with this animal. Just as it was about to lunge at me, the
dream froze as though someone had hit pause on a movie. Then I closed my
eyes(in the dream) and woke up.
